We believe there is so much more to life than the academic subjects of the national curriculum, important as these may be.

Therefore, each Friday children have the opportunity to choose an activity which they will participate in as part of a small group. These activities change, depending on staff interest and special skills, and have included radio editing, magazine production (with Hearst magazine group), pottery, sewing, basketball, poetry and salsa dancing.

Children have the opportunity to work with pupils from other classes and spend quality time with a member of staff who is keen to share their interest or passion. What better way to learn?
