The purpose of the Governing Body is to provide confident, strategic leadership and to create robust accountability, oversight and assurance for educational and financial performance.

The Governing Body has three core functions:

Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
Holding the headteacher and senior leaders to account for the educational performance of Soho Parish Primary School and its pupils as well as the performance management of staff
Overseeing the school's financial performance and making sure its money is well spent

In order to carry out these functions, the Governing Body has constituted the following committees. The chair of each committee is decided by the Full Governing Body.
